'Oh,' thought Maisy, 'it's very quiet here with just me and Mr Human now that Mrs Human has gone away for a few days.'

 

'Still, there are some advantages to being home

with Mr Human ...

 

He does have very tasty ... '

 

'Maisy?' called Mr Human,

'Have you seen my slippers?'

 

Maisy will be having a couple of days off from blogging this week while Mrs Human visits her family for a long weekend.

Day 86

 

'What's all this?' thought Maisy.

 

'All looks a bit noisy to me!'

Day 85: Mrs Human meets a Meerkat!

 

'Oh Mrs Human! Where are you going now! You've hardly been here all weekend!'

 

'I'm just going to pick up all the equipment from the festival Maisy and then I will be home.'

 

 

When Mrs Human got to the National Botanic Garden on Wales to pick up all the equipment left over from Celtic Womenfest 2012 she was greeted by an unusual new friend!

 

 

Peanut the Meerkat! Who is with his chums for 2 days at the Garden for a Meet the Meerkat Event

 

 

'Mmm I can smell a friendly little puppy dog on Mrs Human's jumper,' thought Peanut, 'I wish we could play together!'

Meanwhile, back at home ....

'Poor Mrs Human working so hard lifting things into the van. She'll need a cuddle when she gets home.'  Maisy took forty winks.

 

I wonder how she would get on with Peanut!

Maisy loves cwtches!

 

 

Maisy found that the best time to grab a cwtch

 

 

 

is when Mrs Human is having

a lay down on the sofa

'Come on Mrs Human,' woofed Maisy,

 

 

'You can run faster than that!'

 

 

The 2 friends took a breather ...

Before Maisy ran off to chase the swallows.

Even though Baa Lamb was good fun

 

Even though Pinkie was ... pink!

 

Maisy still preferred socks &underwear!

 'Why does Mr Human spend so much time

in the attic?' Asked Maisy

 

 

 

 

'Come with me and I will show you Maisy,'

said Mrs Human.

 

 

'He makes his Zero One guitars up here poppet ...'

 

 

'Can I learn to play too?' asked Maisy

because Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are particularly musical!

Day 78

'What's for breakfast Mrs Human,' asked Maisy.

 'You shouldn't be up here on the sofa when I am eating lovely girl,' Mrs Human replied.

But luckily she had slipped a doggie treat on her her tray just incase Maisy made an appearance.
