Day 27

Maisy tried really hard to get
Mrs Human's attention ...
In the end she had to get off the sofa
and go into the kitchen.

'Mrs Human ... '
'Yes Little Maisy Cakes?'
'Can we have a lazy day today please?'

'Off course we can, my beautiful girl.'

Mrs Human waited until Maisy was fast asleep and then put into her furry basket, where Good Old Ted was already taking forty winks!

Day 26

Maisy rather liked working from home
with Mrs Human

And Mrs Human rather liked
working from home with Maisy

Sat in her stripey pyjama's with Maisy on her lap,
Mrs Human felt that the world was at their fingertips (and paws!)

Day 25

Maisy thought that the river looked very ....
WET!

'Mmm, I wonder what wet feels like?'

'Wet is FABULOUS!!!!!'

After getting very wet indeed
Maisy found that the best way to get dry
was to roll around in the dirt!

OH MAISY!

Day 24

The sun came out so quick as a whistle ...

Maisy & Mrs Human went out
to look for foxgloves

The foxgloves were very pleased to see
Maisy & Mrs Human dancing up the hill together

Maisy & Mrs Human went up and up and up ...

And in the top field
they found more than just foxgloves!

Day 23

'I'm quite tired Maisy.' said Pinkie.

'Mmm, me too!' replied Maisy.

'I'm quite tired as well Maisy,'
yawned Mr Skinny Fox.

'Maisy? Maisy?' whispered Mr Skinny Fox, 'Maisy, I say, I'm quite tired as well ...'

'zzz zzz zzz,' Maisy replied,
because being a puppy
is a very tiring thing indeed!

Day 22

'OOooo look at me!' squealed Maisy as she sang a a merry little song to herself ...

'Hoorah Hoorah!
I'm up on the chair!
I'm not down there
I'm up on the chair!'

'Mmmm, that's enough of the chair now!' thought Maisy, but there was just one problem!

Getting up on the chair is much easier ...

THAN GETTING DOWN!

WOOF!

Day 21

Maisy, do you think that stick might be
a bit too big for you?

'I don't think so,' thought Maisy.

Are you sure?

'Yes look, it's just the right size!'

Well, if you're sure ...
we could always find you another one?

'It's absolutely perfect,' woofed Maisy,
'I'm definitely sticking with this one!'

Saturday 23 June 2012

Day 20

Maisy thought that if she looked up at Mrs Human with her great big I -would- really -like- a- biscuit- eyes, with a bit of luck, she might get a one.

BINGO!!!!!

Maisy muched the biscuit as quickly as she could.

Until all that was left on the rug were the little crumbs.

It wasn't long at all until there were no signs that there had ever been a biscuit.

'That was scrumptious,' thought Maisy,
as she tried her great big I -would- like to- get- ANOTHER- biscuit eyes on Mrs Human!

Friday 22 June 2012

Day 19

Maisy couldn't decide which bone
was the most tasty!

'I think my favourite is this one with the curly ends?' she pondered.

Oooooo BONE HEAVEN!

Maisy sprawled her freckley belly across the rug and got down to some serious bone chewing!

Thursday 21 June 2012

Day 18

'Mmm,' thought Maisy, 'I wonder if there are any more tasty shells hidden in the garden?'

Maisy searched everywhere and ....

BINGO!!

Mrs Human had said, in her gruff voice,
that puppies should not have shells!

Which was a shame because Maisy was really rather good at finding them!

Wednesday 20 June 2012

Day 17

Maisy was feeling a bit bored in the garden ...

... until she found a STICK!

Maisy thought that it was very clever of
Mrs Human to play the stick game!

Mrs Human was very good at throwing the stick!

Maisy & Mrs Human played the stick game together for hours until they were both exhausted and so they decided to cuddle up on the sofa for a little snooze!

'I really love you Maisy,' whispered Mrs Human.
'& I really love you too Mrs Human,' snored Maisy.
