Day 2

Maisy & Mrs Human spent all of the first day playing in the sunny garden while Mr Human fixed a flap into the back door.

She couldn't see how Mrs Human would ever fit through it but Maisy learnt straight away how to jump in and out ... but then that's probably because she is a very clever puppy indeed!

But the next day Mrs Human sat Maisy down and explained that it was time to go to work. The pair of them went up the old wooden stairs into the Music Studio. Mrs Human staring singing and playing ukulele and strumming guitars and then she sat on the chair and picked up the African Drum called Djembe.

Although Mrs Human had very kindly put a cushion on the floor for Maisy, she rather preferred to stay on Mrs Human's lap.

And if that was where Maisy preferred to be, then that's where Maisy stayed!

Pretty soon Maisy fell fast asleep. She didn't know if it was the rhythm of the drum that sent her into dreamland, reminding her of Jano's heart beat when she used to curl up next to him back on the Dairy Farm, or if it were that Mrs Human's lap was particularly comfortable! Either way she decided to take a good deal more than forty winks!
